Ich hatte das Buch bei Netgalley angefragt, weil mich das Cover angesprochen hatte und der Klappentext sich interessant anhörte.

Und ich wurde tatsächlich nicht enttäuscht. Dieses Buch ist sehr spannend geschrieben und erinnterte mich an Lost und Black Mirror.

Es geht um Fiona und Miles, die aufgrund eines Schulpraktikums nach Berlin reisen sollen, um dort bei einer Firma für Biotechnologie zu arbeiten. 

Die Geschichte wird aus zwei Zeitsträngen erzählt, in dem einem stürzt ihr Flugzeug ab und sie versuchen auf einer einsamen Insel zu überleben, wobei sie sich doch miteinander anfreunden müssen. 

In dem anderen Zeitstrang kommen sie jedoch in Berlin an, und alles dort wirft Fragen auf. Die Firma existiert plötzlich nicht mehr und Fiona bekommt eine Nachricht, in der steht, dass sie niemandem vertrauen soll und sie gejagt wird.

Was nun aber die Realität ist und was nicht, das müsst ihr selber herausfinden! Ich war vom Ende begeistert und bin gespannt, ob es einen weiteren Teil geben wird.

I really wasn't disappointed with this book. It was a fast-paced read and reminded me of Lost and Black Mirror.

The story follows Fiona and Miles that are taking a plane to Berlin because of an internship at a biotech institute. But the plane crashes on an island and they try to stay alive but soon they notice that they're not alone.

But things start to get strange when we learn, that the plane did not crash and they arrived safely in Berlin.
But you have to find out for yourself what is real or just an imagination.

I hope there will be a sequel because I need to find out more about what happend to Fiona and Miles.
